1 Acceptance of these terms

By accessing our website, using the bed builder, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to order from us.

2 Our products

Southeast Murphy Beds designs and builds custom vertical (wall) Murphy beds to order. Product images, 3D previews, illustrations, and descriptions are provided to help you visualize your configuration and are representations only. Natural variations in wood grain, color, and finish are expected and are part of the character of a handcrafted product. Actual products may vary slightly from on-screen previews.

3 Pricing & quotes

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change at any time before an order is placed. The price that applies to your order is the total presented at checkout when you complete your purchase. Saved quotes and estimates are for your convenience and are not a guarantee of price or availability; pricing may change until an order is confirmed. We make every effort to display accurate pricing, but in the event of an obvious error, we reserve the right to correct it and to cancel any affected order.

4 Orders & payment

When you place an order, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total amount, including any applicable delivery, installation, shipping, and taxes. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Your order is an offer to purchase, and a contract is formed when we confirm and accept it. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, due to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inability to fulfill — in which case we will refund any amount charged.

5 Cancellations & returns

Because our beds are custom-made, cancellations, returns, and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy. In summary: you may cancel for a full refund within 7 days of ordering; after that, returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, the customer pays return shipping, and items must be returned in like-new condition. 6 Shipping & delivery

Delivery and shipping are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Local orders within 100 miles of our Ringgold workshop are delivered by our team (curbside or with installation, depending on the option selected). Orders outside our service area ship via third-party LTL or hotshot freight, curbside only. Build and delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

7 Measurements & fit

Finished dimensions for each size are published on our website. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm the product will fit the intended space and can be delivered into it. Issues arising from incorrect measurements or inaccessible spaces are not considered product defects.

8 Finishes & natural wood

If you select the unfinished option, the bed arrives sanded and ready for you to apply your own paint, stain, or clear finish. Because natural wood varies, stain color, grain appearance, and blotching are the customer's responsibility, and we recommend testing any finish on a hidden area first. Painted finishes are applied as selected; slight variation between on-screen color and the finished product is normal.

9 Lifetime Limited Warranty

We stand behind every bed we build. Your Southeast Murphy Bed is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty for the original purchaser, beginning on the date of delivery, under normal residential use. We warrant the lift mechanism, moving hardware, cabinetry, and factory-applied finish against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the bed.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, dents, fading or color variation natural to wood and stain, damage from misuse, accidents, alterations, improper installation by others, customer-applied finishes (including unfinished products finished by the customer), exposure to excessive moisture or sunlight, or any commercial or rental use. This warranty is non-transferable.

Our sole obligation under this warranty is, at our option, to repair or replace the affected component. To make a claim, contact us with your order number and a description and photos of the issue.

10 Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Except as expressly stated in these terms or our warranty, our products and website are provided "as is" and "as available," and we disclaim all other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Southeast Murphy Beds will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, arising out of or related to your use of the site or any product. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Proper installation and safe use are important; please follow all provided instructions and safety guidance.

11 Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, 3D models, designs, and software — is owned by or licensed to Southeast Murphy Beds and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

12 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these terms or your purchase will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

13 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes apply to orders placed and site use after the update takes effect; your continued use of the site means you accept the revised terms.
